“Plastic People” Documentary Screening in Rockport November 5!
The documentary film, “ Plastic People : The Hidden Crisis of Microplastics” will be shown at the Shalin Liu Performance Center, 37 Main Street in Rockport on Wednesday, November 5 at 7pm. This award-winning feature documentary investigates our addiction to plastic and the growing threat of microplastics on human health. The free screening is sponsored by the Interfaith Committee of the Cape Ann Climate Coalition. Doors open at 6:15 and the program starts promptly at 7 pm. Following the movie there will be brief presentations from four panelists from Beyond Plastics, RecycleMA, Seaside Sustainability, and Black Earth Compost and a short Q & A with the panelist. PLEASE CARPOOLl!!-Parking meters in downtown Rockport (on 11/5) will be enforced until 6 pm.- You may also find available unmetered parking spaces to park in.-Do not park in Rockport resident parking spots or you will be ticketed.
