This workshop “Living in Connection with the Earth” is on May 11, 2024, 1-4pm at the Windhover Performing Arts Center 257R Granite St, Rockport. The presenter is Anne Goodwin, she is a singer and songwriter who has completed a facilitator training program through the Works that Reconnect (WTR) Network, which was founded by climate activist Joanna Macy.
About the workshop: As living organisms that live intimately with the rest of creation, we humans are not just living on Earth, we are actually living in connection to the Earth. We are not often conscious of this level of our living during our everyday lives. But if we can return to this awareness, and act according to it, we may respond to the call to heal our human relationship to Earth more deeply and more joyfully. The exercises will be drawn from the Work that Reconnects, a unique body of practices and teachings drawn from engaged Buddhism, ecopsychology, systems theory, and ancient wisdoms.
