All are invited to be part of a greater conversation when the Gloucester Cultural Initiative hosts a special event, “Rough Seas Ahead: Imagining Gloucester’s Future Through the Arts,” this Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Lanesville Community Center, 8 Vulcan St. in Gloucester. This is a free event.
The presentations by the artists, in a variety of mediums, will showcase the broad potential for working together to find solutions to the challenges ahead. People in attendance will bring in their own imaginations to the event and join together in dialogue about our future.
Participating artists are Ken Riaf, Susan Quateman, Andrea LeBlanc, Michael O’Leary, Linda McCarriston, Lisa Smith, Les Bartlett among others. There will be poetry, music, silk painting, video, painting, photography, satire, poster boards and storytelling.
