SAVE GREENAn Energy (and Money) Saving Program for Income-Eligible Households

For the third year in row the Cape Ann Climate Coalition’s Community Building & Education Group has been awarded an EmPower grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC). This grant supports our Save Green program which focuses on understanding and supporting income-eligible people on Cape Ann with the highest energy burdens. Volunteers from the Cape Ann Climate Coalition’s Community Building & Education Group are available to meet with people in low-income households, and landlords with low-income tenants, to share information on money saving energy options, and advocate for or coach landlords who rent to low-income households with energy assessments and energy upgrades. This also includes assistance with programs for income-eligible households to accesses programs for solar, electric vehicles(EVs), EV chargers, and other programs that reduce their energy burden and lower their carbon footprint. We can help you implement each option step-by-step.
